Schedule
The academic year is divided into three terms of 11 weeks each. Classes meet one time per week for two hours per meeting. Class meetings are held from 5 to 7pm and from 7:30 to 9:30pm. Usually class meetings are limited to Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Students are given an opportunity to find the section that is most suitable to their scheduling needs.
The first term of the academic year begins in mid-September and lasts until Thanksgiving. We then take a longish break until shortly after New Years. We find that many people go to India during this time period and it is generally difficult for people to concentrate on studies during the holiday season.
The second eleven-week term goes from early January until late March. We try to make the break coincide with local school districts' spring break.
The third term goes from late March until mid June.

Please note: Beginning Hindi classes only start once per year.
